The Michigan Sponsors of Arts & Cultural Programs directory lists organizations that have engaged an artist or humanities interpreter to present his/her/their work to a Michigan audience. The directory lists these sponsors by region. It may be used to:

  • Schedule block bookings. An arts and cultural program sponsor may use the directory to find other nonprofit venues within the region to coordinate multiple appearances by the same performer/interpreter to share travel and other costs.
  • Promote/market performances and presentations. An artist or interpreter may use the directory listings for mailing promotional and marketing materials on his/her/their performance or presentation and availability to sponsors within a region or statewide.
  • Plan regional tours. An artist or interpreter planning to tour a particular region may use the directory to send promotional materials to other potential sponsors within the same area to expand his/her/their touring schedule.
