Deonna Green and her mother Ione Todd Green, live in houses next to each other on property in Remus, Michigan that their forefathers and foremothers homesteaded. Both women, but especially Deonna, have made other story and family history quilts; they have also made simple patchwork quilts for family members, neighbors, and friends.
